2 of these paintings won a best in show in the Vancouver african violet show. Its my opinion that watercolour remains the best medium for botanical painting.
primulina 'tzuan'. A lovely plant and far more robust then other members of the genus(it thrives in my neglect).
Episcia 'butternut: while episcias are usually grown for their foliage, the flowers a delight. Such a saturated red is rare in gesneriads
Streptocarpus (formerly saintpaula) ionanthus ssp. orbicularis. a delightful species african violet, thats unfortunalty fell victim to the nightmare taxonomic reshuffling of Saintpaula and streptocarpus. Still a nice plant tho.
